Nonprofit & Foundation Resilience:

Where to Start

Many nonprofits will never need most of these resources. These tables are not exhaustive. The first table covers simple steps every organization should review; the second points to help if a specific issue comes up. This guide is a starting point: there are more areas to cover, more situations an organization or individual may face, and more resources available.

Communications is not covered below, because a strategic or crisis communications plan is a bespoke effort built around each organization. If that interests you, I’m happy to discuss further, share my thoughts and make recommendations based on your needs.

I’m also happy to answer any questions or respond to any comments. You can reach me at caitlin@cbkstrategies.com.
